ENDA DONAGHER ARCHITECT PC is a design-led, architecture and interior design practice founded by architect Enda Donagher. The firm's specialties are luxury residential, retail and commercial design. With a dedicated team, the firm has established a reputation for understanding and fulfilling its clients’ visions in a resourceful and innovative way, with an emphasis on close-principal involvement and outstanding customer service.
The firm offers full design services, from initial consultation and planning studies, through approvals, permitting, bidding and construction phase services, to the complete design of architectural interiors. EDA oversees the entire project team including engineers, lighting designers, audio-visual consultants, contractors, painters, vendors and artisans. The cross-disciplinary background of the firm ensures that architecture and interior design are meticulously coordinated - with obsessive attention - to the very last detail.
EDA has recently completed homes in Massachussets, Florida and New York. The firm is regularly involved in projects in New York City, Long Island, Boston, Connecticut and Florida.
Enda Donagher AIA
Over a 30-year career at the highest level of architecture and interior design, Enda Donagher has created a portfolio of work that is wide-ranging in character, and modern in sensibility. Regardless of scale or budget, Donagher’s work is always clear, sophisticated and highly tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
Born and raised in Ireland, Donagher attended the School of Architecture at University College Dublin, graduating with honors in 1993. Shortly thereafter, he came to the USA and began his career in the New York design world, working first at D’Aquino Monaco and then Naomi Leff & Associates. His talents were further honed during lengthy tenures at the venerable New York offices of Thierry W. Despont, Ferguson & Shamamian Architects, and later Randall A. Ridless LLC where he served as Vice President and Director of Architecture. In 2009, he co-founded the architecture and interiors firm Martell-Donagher LLC. Enda Donagher is a New York State registered architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Residential experience includes estates, homes and apartments in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, California, Rhode Island, Idaho, Washington D.C., and Washington State.
Retail design projects include Giorgio Armani, New York & Co, Van Cleef & Arpels, Holt Renfrew, St. John Knits, Frette, and Milly.
Luxury condominium designs include 550 Quadrille Place in West Palm Beach, Manhattan House in New York, 1000 Boylston St. in Boston, and The Grand Club at St. Andrews, Scotland. Donagher's work has appeared in publications such as House Beautiful, Women’s Wear Daily, DNR, New York Living, Florida Design, and The New York Times. His designs for the St. Andrews Grand were featured in the publication Tartan: Romancing the Plaid by Jeffrey Banks and Doria De La Chapelle.
